The Nutty Cow: logo and ice cream packaging
A cashew and an almond for two letters. Pastel lines on cups, tubs and napkins.
For The Nutty Cow, a lactose-free ice cream made with almond and cashew milk, we design the logo, packaging, menu, napkins and icons.
CONTEXT
The Nutty Cow makes lactose-free ice cream, mostly from almond and cashew milk, so it suits vegans, people on a diet and anyone who is lactose intolerant.
We carry the logo and the visual identity onto the packaging, the menu, the napkins and a set of icons. In the script wordmark a cashew stands in for the “e” of The and an almond for the “o” of Cow, above the line “100% Dairy free Ice cream”. The lettering is a copper gradient, and loose lines in coral, lime, teal and peach run across every piece. The cups and tubs for the different sizes are white, with a rim and lid in the colour of the flavour: strawberry, mint, lavender. The menu lists the top ten flavours beside a drawing of a cone stacked with ten scoops, and nine lilac icons show cones, ice lollies, two cups and an ice cream sandwich.
