> Bespoke web software instead of Excel: order and stock systems, admin panels, ERP integrations and our own analytics. The code and the data are yours.

Bespoke web software is a browser application that does what one spreadsheet and one person do today: it takes orders, tracks stock, works out quotes and records who changed what. It is for companies that have outgrown Excel: a wholesaler taking phone orders, a shop with its stock in another program, an office run by one formula.

Systems like these have pages of their own in our portfolio, and the warehouse software is our own product as well. For Radans, a food distributor, we built a B2B store that syncs with the warehouse software twice a day and sends every order back. For Elektrokomers 68, an electrical-supplies trader, we built a catalogue with a bespoke admin panel, fed by an external stock system. For Zdradech, a metals trader, we wrote the warehouse software itself, which runs only on the company's network.

Today we build on our own platform, so the admin panel, roles and analytics are there from day one. The code, database and documentation are yours: no black box only we can open.

Not every process deserves bespoke software; when an off-the-shelf program does the job, we say so at the first meeting. Bespoke pays off when the process is your edge.

We start with the step that hurts every day, and it ships first. Each stage has a written scope and a fixed price; the pricing page explains what moves it. Linking an online store to a stock system is a separate service: warehouse sync and ERP integration.

## What is included

- Bespoke systems — Orders, stock, quotes, schedules, a customer base (CRM): whatever lives in Excel today, as one application with shared data and a change history.
- Bespoke admin panel — A catalogue management system for products, categories, prices, stock, images and content, instead of an off-the-shelf CMS. The Elektrokomers 68 catalogue works this way.
- Wholesale (B2B) portal — A B2B store that shows prices and full functionality only to corporate customers; every order reaches the warehouse without retyping. Radans works this way.
- Integrations — ERP, stock and accounting software, couriers, payments: via API, a regular file or direct database access. We check what yours exports before promising a date.
- First-party analytics — Visits, journeys, funnels and heatmaps, collected first-hand: no third-party scripts, no stored IP address, and nothing runs until the visitor consents.
- Automations, roles and history — Automated quotes, reminders and reports: repeating steps run themselves and leave a trace. Every change has an author and a time; every user, a role.

## How it works

01. 01 Scope — We write down the process as it runs today: who enters what, who checks it, where it breaks, and which step hurts most.
02. 02 First version — We build the step that hurts most first. The data moves over from the old spreadsheet; nobody types it in again.
03. 03 Parallel run — The old way and the new one run side by side until the numbers match. We compare records, not impressions.
04. 04 Sign-off and upkeep — You sign off and receive the code, the database and the documentation. Upkeep and later stages are a separate contract, with us or another team.

## Results

- 2 × syncs a day — Radans — the warehouse feeds the B2B store; orders flow back automatically
- third-party scripts in the analytics — our own analytics: no stored IP address, on only after the visitor consents

## Questions and answers

**How much does bespoke web software cost?**
Bespoke web software is priced by scope, not by the number of pages. We write down what the system does and split it into stages; each stage gets a fixed price that changes only if the scope does. What moves the number: the screens and the logic behind them, the integrations — each connection to a warehouse, accounting or ERP program is its own job — and moving the data across from the old spreadsheets. The rest is on the pricing page.

**When does bespoke software make sense, and when is an off-the-shelf program better?**
Bespoke software makes sense when the process is your edge: prices per customer, your own way of working, a link between programs that off-the-shelf products do not know about. If your process is the same as everyone else's in the trade — invoicing, payroll, standard bookkeeping — an off-the-shelf program is almost always the better choice. When that is the case, we say so at the first meeting.

**How do we replace an Excel spreadsheet with web software?**
An Excel spreadsheet is replaced in stages, not in one big switch. First we write down who enters what, who checks it and where the spreadsheet breaks; then we build the most painful step and move the data across instead of retyping it. The old and new ways run side by side until the numbers match, and only then is the spreadsheet retired.

**Will it work with our ERP, stock or accounting software?**
Bespoke web software connects to any ERP, stock or accounting program — through an API, a regular file or direct access to its database. We check what and how yours exports before promising a date. At Radans, the warehouse software feeds the B2B store twice a day and gets every order back. We also connect to systems we did not write: a virtual fitting-room module we added to a client's clothing store reads its items, sizes and prices.

**Who owns the code and the data — and what happens if we stop working together?**
You own the code, the database and the data. You get the documentation, and the logins are in your name, so another developer can pick up where we left off. Upkeep is a separate contract, not a condition: you can keep it with us as website maintenance, hand it to another team or do without it.

**How long does bespoke web software take to build?**
The timeline for bespoke web software is set once the scope is written down, not before, because it depends on the number of steps and integrations. The first version covers one step and ships before anything else, so you work with it while we build the next. Whatever could stretch the timeline shows up during scoping: a program with no ready export, where the connection is written from scratch, or spreadsheets that need tidying first.

**Can the system run only on our own network, with no outside access?**
Yes, web software can run only inside a company's own network. The warehouse software we wrote for Zdradech is installed on a computer at the company that acts as the server; every other device opens it in a browser, and there is no access from outside. When a system has to be reachable from anywhere, it can run on ordinary shared hosting, with no server of your own.

**What analytics do we get, and do we still need Google Analytics?**
You get our own analytics: visits, journeys through the site, funnels and click heatmaps per device type. It runs with no third-party scripts, stores no IP addresses and switches on only after the visitor consents, and the data stays on your server rather than in someone else's account. Google Analytics can run alongside it if you want it, and it too loads only after consent. It is not required.
