> Product photo retouching for online stores, catalogues and ads: clean backgrounds, true colour, the same scale, RGB for screen, CMYK for print, SKU file names.

A product photo decides whether anyone clicks “Buy”. At T&B Technology we retouch the product photos you already have, for an online store, a catalogue or an ad. Products shot at different times against different backgrounds come out as one series: one background, true colour, the same scale. Every file comes back twice — web-optimised in RGB and at full resolution in CMYK for print — named by SKU.

At T&B the photos are retouched by the same team that builds online stores and lays out print catalogues. We know the size and ratio each image needs in the product grid, how light the file must be to load fast on a phone and which colour profile the printer wants, so the images fit first time. For a product on a shelf, retouching the photos and designing the packaging and label is one job, in one set of colours.

You send five typical frames from the series, and we tell you what can be fixed and what the whole batch will cost. Then we retouch one frame and agree the background, the shadow and the crop on it; only then does the rest go through to the same standard. The originals and the finished files stay yours, and we do not use them elsewhere without your agreement. How we quote is on the pricing page.

## What is included

- Background removal — A clean cut-out and the same background across the whole catalogue.
- Removing a person or an object — What does not belong disappears without a trace.
- Colour change — One product in six colours, without six photo shoots.
- Colour profile — RGB for screen, CMYK for print, PMS for a brand colour.
- Composites — Several frames in one, for an ad or a banner.
- Retouching — Glare, dust and small flaws, with a light hand.

## How it works

01. 01 Material — We look at the frames and say what can be saved.
02. 02 Test frame — We retouch one shot and agree the style on it.
03. 03 The batch — The rest are retouched to the same standard.
04. 04 Handover — Files for the store and for print, named by SKU.

## Questions and answers

**What does product photo retouching cost?**
The price of product photo retouching depends on the kind of work, the number of frames and the product itself. A background cut-out along a clean edge is the least work; composites, colour changes and shots of glass, polished metal or clear packaging take more. Send five typical photos and we quote the whole batch — a fixed price for a written scope, as with all our one-off work. How we quote is on the pricing page.

**Whose are the retouched photographs?**
Yours — together with the originals you gave us. They come back in both profiles, for screen and for print, and we do not use them anywhere else without your agreement.

**Can you fix a dark or blurred photo?**
A dark one, yes. A blurred one cannot be recovered; reshooting is cheaper.

**What size are the files?**
For the store — optimised for the web; for print — CMYK at full resolution.

**What photos should I send?**
Send the largest originals you have — RAW or JPG straight from the camera or phone. Images saved from a website or forwarded through WhatsApp or Messenger are usually shrunk, and the detail they lose cannot be put back. If there are many files, send a download link rather than e-mail attachments.

**Do you photograph the products too?**
Yes. We also run product photo shoots, so one team can both shoot a series and retouch it, planning each shot around the cut-out, background and scale your store or catalogue needs. If you already have photos, we work on those and suggest a reshoot only for frames that cannot be fixed. What a shoot includes is set out on the photo and video production page.

**How should I shoot the products so they are easy to retouch?**
Shoot the whole series under the same conditions: the same background, the same light, one angle and one distance to the product. Soft daylight or two matching lamps from the sides work best, with the built-in flash off and the camera or phone on a tripod so the frame does not shift. Leave space around the product for the cut-out and the margins your store needs. If a photographer shoots for you, give them this list first.

**Can you change a product's colour without a new shoot?**
Yes — if the product was shot in good light, its other colours are made on the same frame, so one model in six colours does not need six shoots. To match the real product we need a sample or the supplier's colour code. Patterned fabric, glass and high-gloss surfaces are harder to recolour, so we check them on the test frame first.

**Can you prepare photos for Amazon, eMAG and other marketplaces?**
Yes — we cut the product out onto pure white and set the size and margins to the marketplace's rules. The rules differ: Amazon, for example, wants a pure white background on the main image and a product that fills most of the frame. Send us the requirements of the marketplace you sell on, and the whole batch follows them.
